Alrinthea Carter

Alrinthea Carter is a Rural Exploration photographer based in Greenville, South Carolina. Her artistic focus is on the Abandoned Spaces of the Southeastern United States. Her work aims to tell the stories of the South’s factories and homes left behind, silently consumed and reclaimed by the elements and to brush aside the Kudzu curtain to reveal the treasure troves of machinery, classic architecture, and gorgeous color. Her work has been featured in The South Carolina Review, Emrys Journal, Pembroke Magazine, TOWN Magazine, and select galleries. She can be found climbing century old staircases in search of forgotten beauty.
